PDF / A was established ISOStandard for long-term archiving of documents and will be significant for companies and organizations. The trend shows that all the documents which must be kept over a longer period will be stored in this format.

eDocPrintPro PDF/A is considered one of the first PDF printers which is able to produce PDF/A compatible documents via virtual printing with a PDF/A printer driver and out of any application.  

EasyMerge was developed to "merge" individual PDF files to one complete PDF/A document in the most easy way. The individual files can be either created by printing with eDocPrintPro printerdriver or transferred direct to EasyMerge documentlist by Drag and Drop or inserted via selection in the file dialog.

The easiest way is to create the PDF/A documents over a printing process using a PDF/A printer driver.

bAIK uses PDF/A for its collection of land register deeds
The Federal Chamber of Architects and Engineering Consultants in Austria requires that publicly available electronic documents comply with the PDF/A-1b standard. In addition, the authenticity of electronic documents that are being added to the land register will be assured through use of a qualified digital signature.
